My replacement unit arrived on Monday Sept 12.

Same exact ##&#**&# problem.  I guess it is considered impossible for a problem to exist in the design or manufacture of this product.

Tuesday Sept 13th I wrote back to customer service requesting a refund. - Have not heard back yet.

At this point I have written off my $40 and the money I spent to ship back the first defective unit.
Does anyone want it for parts ?  Send me a prepaid shipping package and it is yours.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe that 2 units just happen to have the same problem when in your hands.
I suggest you bring the whole works down to a good vape shop and get them to look at it for you.
I own several Joyetech devices and have never had an issue with any of them..
