Can someone explain how the Temperature Control mode is supposed to work when the NC Film Heater is made of Kanthal?

You will have to change the tank to a tank that accepts a coil with TC wire. I wish Joyetech would create SS and Ni NCFilm heat element, but for now that is not available.
The ProCore Air fits nicely, it seems to run cooler, and as you know has over 100 compatible coil possibilities 微笑

The T80 will be used as the base for other new tanks too, the Solo has just been announced using a variation of the RiftCore design.
