This is indeed a good desgin and a good choice, Kermit.

PS: Is it possible to display the peak amps from the last draw, with a hold function until a new draw is taken?

Looks good. The voltage appears to be the battery voltage, not the voltage applied to the coil. Will this be visible in temperature control mode?
ETA What does the partial circle around the wattage represent?

I requested this feature way back when the evic vtc mini was getting a face lift. Great idea ?
