Cuboid Mini - Maximum 1.5ohm? - muselnor - 01-25-2018

Hello Everyone,

I’m slightly new to the whole vaping thing but I am currently
Using a Cuboid Mini and was just wondering if I can use a 1.8ohm coil with it as I am looking to buy the nautilus 2 tank for it. If not can anyone suggest a decent tank?

Thanks in advance

I do not have that exact device but looking at the specs of it and the optional spare parts at the bottom of the page at http://www.joyetech.com/product/cuboid-mini/ the following coils will work fine in the cuboid mini atomiser:
NotchCoilTM 0.25ohm DL. Head
BF Clapton-1.5ohm
BF SS316 Series Heads
furthermore you should be able to run a different atomiser tank as long as it is 22.3mm dia or smaller. the tank and coil setup should be between 0.1 to 3.5 ohm to work in VW or Bypass mode. I would highly recommend the EXCEED D22 shown at http://www.joyetech.com/product/exceed-d22/ but ask around more before you make the change to be sure it is compatible.

I believe the nautilus 2 would work! but I personally have 'heard'(I do not have one)alot of negative things about leaking and a pain to fill . I too would recommend the D22,you have a choice of 1.2 coil (8-14w) or you can choose the .5 ohm coil for 20-35w. I have the D22 and I love the fact that I can choose very minimal air flow or wide open air flow. I think for someone just starting out its the perfect choice.

Thanks a lot. Have been using the D22 Tank but have had loads of problems with gurgling and liquid spitting and thats not just one tank! Any recommendations to what I can do to stop the gurgling?

The only time I had trouble with gurgling was if I over primed or over filled getting juice down the center. I take a q-tip (cotton swab) and poke it down the center ,if it wont fit, just pull some of the cotton off till it fits. and sometimes if I over- filled I will have to empty the tank, take the coil out and dry up the base under the coil with a paper towel or q-tip. another tip...if tank is getting low it will pick up some air, just to up the tank and it should go away! hope one of these will help you ( I am referring to D22 Exceed tank here)

I just noticed something...the Cubis 2 is D22 and Exceed is also D22 . In my comments above I am referring to the EXCEED D22 not the cubis D22! ti me I;m thinking you may be talking about the Cubis 2 because I have found no solution for the spitting and gurgling with that one 无法决定

RE: Cuboid Mini - Maximum 1.5ohm? - CosmicTruth - 02-04-2018

I have a D22C on my EXCEED Box, and am running the 20-35W 0.5 Ohm EX Coil, the tank does not Spit, Flood or Leak at all, it produces a great cloud and flavor. The juice I am using is 40%PG/60VG, the juice ratio can make a slight difference on vapor and leaking. I bet one of your seals may be damaged or the coil or tank may not be completely tightened. I would try disassembling and cleaning the tank, be sure to fully tighten all the parts carefully when you put it back together. But if you decide to switch to the Nautilus 2 it may work good, although it is not a Joyetech, I think it is 20mm dia (as i remember) so there shouldn't be a overhang on the 22.3mm wide Cuboid Mini. It might be a good idea to wait for warranty expiration before mixing brands.

muselnor which one did you mean was gurgling and spitting?
the both tanks are D22 , the exceed and the cubis2. I haven't had luck with the cubis 2 but the exceed is awesome
