What battery for my VTC ? - smu - 09-16-2015

Hi there 微笑

I ordered my VTC with a SAMSUNG IMR18650-25R battery, because the recommended SONY wasn't available.

I now want to extend my setup with another battery and a standalone charger.

Before ordering anything, I'd love to hear advices from Joyetech Social members !

Thanks !

You can use the LG HG2, they support enough amperage for the VTC Mini and are 3000mAh capacity. That's what I use.

Thats what i use too,

LG HE2 and LG HG2 Batteries.

Best for this low Price here in Germany. (7€)

Thanks for your advices !

I didn't notice this brand, not a best-seller in France.
A local shop sells LG HG2 batteries at 9.90€, so I will give them a try 微笑

Especially with this mod, you can use bypass mode.
I recommend the Samsung 25R, Sony VTC 5,or LG he2.
If money is not a problem, go VTC5. 大咧嘴

The VTC5 specs are slighter higher with continuous discharge @ 30A / 60A Peak.
Samsung 25R continuous discharge is only 22A / 35A Peak.

Smok King, you are a fantastic source of misinformation, aren't you? You just make it up as you go along.

Samsung's spec sheet specifies the 25R as 20A CDR.
Sony's spec sheet specifies the VTC5 as 20A CDR.
Sony's spec sheet specifies the VTC3 and VTC4 as 30A CDR.

And you must be the Vapingtroll.
30A CD is what the manufacture advertise it.
20A or 30A has been debate lots of time over the internet and certainly not going into it here.

Continuous draw ratings have nothing much to do with vaping...

We vape pulsed current, so pulsed/max amp draw ratings are much more useful to us.

VTC5 cells outperform a 25R any day of the week vaping high wattage (60W+). Below 50W you may not see much difference though.
