The paint on my silver cubis tank is peeling off, has any one else seen or had this happen? You can see from the photo's the paint that has flaked off, not small bits but large bits.

I use my gold eVic VTC in the field and carry it in my shirt pocket, the paint is slowly wearing off (the mod) and I can see the primer in a couple of places. Not nearly like what you are experiencing. Yours looks like it wasn't primered at all. Just out of curiosity what do you do? was it in contact with any chemicals?

I can't see any primer either. No not near on in contact with any sort of chemicals. All I was doing was washing it in warm water, started to dry it with a soft cloth and the paint started to peel off.

I wouldn't mind if I miss used my things but I don't.

I just use a slightly damp paper towel, wonder if they forgot to prime that one? I'm not sure if mine has primer as my tanks are all pristine, just the paint wearing from the mod itself.
is it authentic Joyetech?

I wouldn't have thought warm water would cause this to happen. I've only had it since the 22 June 2016 and I've not used it that much.
One thing that has just crossed my mind is how hot the cubis gets when you use it, I wonder if this has something to do with the paint peeling off.

The same here, all my mods and tanks are in pristine condition and that's how I like to keep them.
I've been in touch with the seller and I don't think they know what to make of it, will see what they come back with
I that stainless underneath?
That kind of peeling looks like a manufacturing defect. The paint is simply not adhering to the metal.

As you can see the main tank has no paint on it at all but the top cap ect is still fine, at the moment.
It can still be used but it doesn't look right.
I've not had much luck with the cubis tanks, I have 2, including this one and I've had trouble with both of them, may be time to get a different tank.

I've passed the photo's on to the seller and they are going to pass them on to joyetech, just have to wait now and see what they say.
I've had a reply from the seller and according to them joyetech wont do anything about it. Bad very bad. I don't think I'll be buying any more joyetech products, there customer support is shocking.

So based on that this'll probably be my last post on here. Thank you to everyone that has tried to help with the problems I've had.

Maybe you need a new seller? If the unit is within the warranty period Joyetech will do something about it (beit a little slow). If you want a change I don't suggest anything except Joyetech so try ULTIMO. But buy it mail order or from a completely different vape shop and see if you get better service.
