Hi all, I just recently bought Cuboid mini kit.
I'm using 1 ohm Bf coil in it and I have some issues with it, maybe it's because I'm new to TC but I can't get it to work properly.
The setting I have are:
Temp SS316
230C/450F
Power 20W
Coil 1,1 ohm locked

Firmware is V3.03

Liquid I'm using is 70/30 VG/PG

I have tried lowering/upping the wattage and temp, vaping with unlocked resistance but still after couple of seconds of the draw display shows "Protection" and while this is showing it doesn't produce any vapor.
When it does work i get dry hits...

What am I doing wrong?

Without the START mode you will have to just get suggestions how much power to put on your coil. Temp Protection is good and when it's showing that your device just isn't allowed to go OVER your temp setting but it is still heating the coil at the current temp limit you have set. my eVic-VTC mini shows the over temp protection all the time but is still producing great vapor. If your hitting the device quickly too many times the coil may be drying out, give it time between puffs to soak up more juice. I'm sure someone here will give you some start PWR settings so don't give up. I run my temp mode on VTC Mini at 410F to avoid burning the cotton in the coil, You can use that and slowly increase the PWR to the coil in little increments till it gives good production and flavor you want but take time between puffs to allow juice to wick into the cotton. Don't just change around randomly, start low and go up, take your time. Good luck 微笑
Hi Cole,

1.0 ohm is difficult to run TC mode, it will be heated up quickly. I think you can try Power mode, starts from 8w to 20w for finding the best vaping point. If the flavor is getting light which means the power is bigger than the coil needs. Please then don't increase up more powers to avoid dry burnt case.
